In any in-depth discussion about clinical work, the conversation almost invariably turns to issues of transference. What is this two way phenomenon? What are the sources of these mysterious, often puzzling feelings and forces that affect the therapeutic relationship from somewhere else in space and time? How does a therapist know when either of them are present in the room? How does one use them creatively to better understand the nature of the client’s difficulties and be able to use the energy creatively to keep the work moving?
These and other issues surrounding therapist/client interactions will be reviewed and discussed in this Open Session facilitated by Charles S Pohl LCSW. Hope to see you there!
Full description and objectives will be posted in early September.
