Facilitator: Misty Wall, Ph.D, MSSW, LCSW
In this interactive seminar Dr. Wall draws on 20+ years of professional experience and personal experience as a parent to children with attachment disorders to inform clinicians work with children who have experienced trauma and disrupted attachment.  Participants will define the process of attachment and attachment disruption, identify types of attachment, explore DSM 5 criteria for diagnosis of attachment and related disorders, and learn two key methods for facilitating relationship repair between children who have experienced attachment disruption and caregivers.
